Happy Hour Book Club – Jacqueline Woodson

Did you read Brown Girl Dreaming?  Join us for an evening of books and beverages as we discuss Jacqueline Woodson’s 2014 National Book Award winner.*

Discussion will be lead by Megan Egbert. Megan Egbert is a writer, a reader, and a librarian. She serves as the District Programs Manager for the Meridian Library District (ID). She earned her Masters in Library Science from the University of North Texas and her Bachelors in Sociology from Boise State University. She has been trained in book evaluation from the Bill Morris Seminar (American Library Association) and she reviews for School Library Journal. Megan has an upcoming book (Sept 2016) called “Creating Makers: How to Start a Learning Revolution at Your Library.”

This event is free and open to the public. BYOB.
