Calling all poets! In this six week workshop, participants will zero in on what they’re transfixed by to write a six poem sequence (or poem in six parts) on a subject or theme of their choosing.
This six-week workshop will meet on Tuesdays January 26th, Feb. 2nd, Feb. 9th, Feb. 16th, Feb. 23rd, and March 1st at The Cabin from 6:30-8:30pm
Every poet has their obsessions– those words, images, ideas that occur, recur in their work—sometimes deliberately, often unconsciously. We’ll look at examples by poets such as C.D. Wright, Robert Hass, and Louise Gluck for inspiration and example. Poets and writers at all levels are welcome– we look forward to sharing how poetic techniques can help writers from all genres.
