Urban Ink 2017 PM Grades 6-9

June 5 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Event Navigation

Meets daily June 5th-9th. This camp is for kids going into 6th – 9th grade. Camp meets Monday through Friday from 1pm – 4 pm each day.  Explore cityscapes, coffee shops, public art, and urban life in Boise’s downtown. A professional teaching-writer from The Cabin will be your guide as you find inspiration to write original short stories with unique characters and settings, and create super-alive poems rooted in observation. Because this particular section of Urban Ink has a wider age range, 9th graders are encouraged to take on a mentor role during the week. Our teaching-writers are prepared with a curriculum to reach all ages in the group.

Downtown adventures in short fiction & poetry.
