Join writer Tracy Sunderland in a practical exploration and approach to screenwriting. Using a point of inspiration — a memory, a character, a landscape, etc. — writers will leap into the process of crafting screenplays. Tracy’s empowering techniques and prompts will have participants quickly translating their ideas into actions on the page: by course end, writers will have completed a short screenplay. No experience necessary: just be ready and eager to write!
Tracy loves storytelling and the particular demands of writing plays and screenplays. Her short films have won multiple festival awards and her feature film Tailor is shooting in Athens this coming March (at last!). Tracy holds an MA in filmmaking from London Film School and received the 2015 Fellowship in Filmmaking from the Idaho Commission on the Arts. She also teaches at Boise State University and received the Adjunct Faculty of the Year Award in 2015.
