Cassie Angley is a published and produced playwright, actress, singer and theatre-maker. Performed, trained, and wrote in New York City for over 15 years. Wrote, produced, and performed in more than 12 original plays and musicals. Eight years experience teaching designing and managing Literacy and Multi-Arts programs empowering urban youth to achieve their potential. Creative approach to blending standard and non-traditional teaching curriculum and classroom management techniques, to create a safe, structured learning environment. She performed her one-woman show Finding the Michaels Off-Broadway in New York City in the United SoloTheatre Festival and Estrogenius Festival. Currently she is a graduate student at BSU pursuing a Masters in Education/Literacy, with the goal of using theater and creativewriting to help struggling readers excel.
