Words matter. Your support makes them thrive.

Your donation today ensures that the stories and voices shaping our community are heard, nurtured, and empowered—because now, more than ever, words matter.

In a time when book bans are rising in Idaho and beyond, your support matters more than ever. Together, we made an incredible impact in 2024:

Raised $10,000 to distribute 10,000 banned or challenged books through our partnership with Rediscovered Books, ensuring diverse stories stay accessible.

Placed teaching-writers in 23 classrooms and juvenile detention centers, fostering creativity in underserved communities.

Welcomed 309 young writers to our summer camps, nurturing the next generation of storytellers through immersive, hands-on experiences.

But there is still work to do.

Help us reach our $15,000 goal by December 31, 2024, to ensure that Idaho’s stories continue to be told.

Every gift, no matter the size, makes an impact.

Your support will:

  • Expand access to writing programs and workshops for youth and adults.

  • Foster creativity through literary events, author readings, and discussions.

  • Empower voices from diverse backgrounds and amplify stories that often go unheard.

  • Support local writers by providing them a platform to grow and share their work.
