John’s books have won many prizes, including an Audie Award, an Edgar Award, the Michael L. Printz Medal, and a Los Angeles Book Prize. Green’s books have been published in more than 55 languages and over 60 million copies are in print worldwide. Additionally, John and his brother, Hank Green, host the popular podcast, Dear Hank and John.

Ayad Akhtar

Ayad Akhtar is a novelist and playwright whose work has been published and performed in over two dozen languages. He is the author of Homeland Elegies and American Dervish, and his Broadway plays include McNeal, Junk, Disgraced, and many others. He is the winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, the Edith Wharton Citation of Merit for Fiction, and an Award in Literature from the American Academy of Arts and Letters. In 2021, Akhtar was named the New York State Author, succeeding Colson Whitehead, by the New York State Writers Institute.

Emily St. John Mandel

Emily St. John Mandel is the author of Sea of Tranquility, selected by President Barack Obama as one of his favourite books of 2022; The Glass Hotel, also on Obama’s list, and shortlisted for the Scotiabank Giller Prize; and Station Eleven, which was a finalist for a National Book Award and the PEN/Faulkner Award, won the 2015 Arthur C. Clarke Award, aired as a limited series on HBO Max, and has been translated into 37 languages.

Min Jin Lee

Min Jin Lee is the author of the novels Free Food for Millionaires and Pachinko, the latter a finalist for the National Book Award, runner-up for the Dayton Literary Peace Prize, and a New York Times "100 Best Books of the Century.” She is the 2024 recipient of The Fitzgerald Prize for Literary Excellence, the Manhae Grand Prize for Literature, and, as New York State Author Laureate (2025-2027), the Edith Wharton Citation of Merit. Lee is an inductee of the New York State Writers Hall of Fame and her fiction has been translated into over 35 languages.

Michael Lewis

Michael Lewis is the NYT bestselling author of Moneyball, The Premonition, The Fifth Risk, and his most recent, Going Infinite, the latter telling the story of FTX’s collapse and the enigmatic founder at its center, Sam Bankman-Fried. His book about the 2008 financial crisis, The Big Short, was made into an Oscar-winning film directed by Adam McKay, while two of his sports-related books, Moneyball and The Blind Side, were made into Oscar-nominated feature films. Lewis is the creator and host of Apple's #1 rated podcast, Against the Rules.
