Vicki Kreimeyer

Vicki Kreimeyer holds an M.P.A. from Portland State University, an M.A. in Library Science from the University of Michigan, and a B.A. in English (Cum Laude) from Lewis and Clark College. Her professional career spans more than three decades of leadership in public and academic libraries, including service as Adult Services Manager at the Boise Public Library (1995–2011), Senior Consultant with Marcept Consulting and Research (1991–1995), Deputy Director of the Washington State Library (1986–1990), Associate Director for Information Services at the Idaho State Library (1985–1986), and Assistant Library Director for Public Services at Lewis and Clark College (1979–1984).

Complementing her professional work, she has been deeply engaged in nonprofit and arts organizations, including ongoing involvement with Critical Mass Vocal Artists (2018–present) and long-term membership in Opera Idaho’s Resident Company (1991–2023), where she also served in multiple governance roles such as Board President, Board Member, Board Secretary, Board Vice President, and Executive Council Member.

Her community service further includes leadership roles with the Idaho Women’s Charitable Foundation (Board Member and Education Committee Chair, 2012–2017), City Club of Boise (Board Member, 2008–2012), the March of Dimes Idaho Chapter (Board Member, 1993–1996), and participation in Leadership Boise’s Class of 2000. Recognized for her dedication to civic life, she was honored by Mayor David Bieter on September 28, 2017, as one of “Boise’s Good Neighbors,” celebrating her embodiment of Boise’s community spirit.
