Join The Cabin and Boise State MFA Reading Series on Friday, March 16th to celebrate the release of poet Kerri Webster’s new book The Trailhead, fresh from Wesleyan University Press!
Reading is at 7:00 PM at Boise State University’s Hemingway Center Gallery.
A reception will follow at 8:30 PM at The Cabin.
Kerri Webster is the author of two other books of poetry: Grand & Arsenal (University of Iowa Press, 2012) and We Do Not Eat Our Hearts Alone (University of Georgia Press, 2005), as well as two chapbooks: Psalm Project (Albion Books, 2009), and Rowing Through Fog, selected by Carl Phillips as a winner of the Poetry Society’s Chapbook Fellowship (2003). She received the prestigious Whiting Award in 2011. Her poems have appeared in numerous journals including Poetry, Kenyon Review, Boston Review, Guernica, Antioch Review, Gettysburg Review, Indiana Review, and Gulf Coast. The poet Shane McCrae wrote, “Kerri Webster has my favorite living ear.”
Webster is a faculty member of the Boise State MFA program in Creative Writing and a Cabin Teaching-Writer.
