Due to public health concerns around the spread of COVID-19, this Free Drop-In Writing Workshop will be offered virtually via Zoom.
Meet your writing community! Join us online on the first and third Tuesday every month from 6:30 – 8:00 PM for a totally free, no-strings-attached Drop-In Writing Workshop. Drop-In is hosted by some of our community’s most creative writers, who will lead you through unique writing prompts and leave you with a poem, story, or something completely different to revise at home. These workshops are open to adult writers of all skill levels, and you only need to bring yourself!
The April 21st workshop will be taught by Tyler Brewington! Tyler will lead a discussion on how our relationships to reading and writing have changed (or not) over the course of quarantine and provide time to share some writing.
Tyler Brewington is the author of the chapbook Dear Stray Volcano (alice blue, 2015) and, with Kelly Schirmann, the collection Boyfriend Mountain (Poor Claudia, 2015). His poems have appeared in PEN America’s PEN Poetry Series, Salt Hill, Powder Keg, Sixth Finch, COAST|noCOAST, and elsewhere. He received an MFA from the Vermont College of Fine Arts and he is from Boise, Idaho
