Join us for a lecture with Barbara Kingsolver, acclaimed author of The Poisonwood Bible, Animal, Vegetable, Miracle, and Unsheltered, among many others.

BARBARA KINGSOLVER has published fifteen books of fiction, nonfiction, and poetry, and has received numerous honors over her long literary career. Her 1998 novel The Poisonwood Bible was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize and was picked as an Oprah Book selection, The Lacuna won the British Orange Prize for fiction, and her 2007 memoir, Animal, Vegetable, Miracle: A Year of Food Life, won the prestigious James Beard Award. Her books have been translated into more than a dozen languages, incorporated into high school and college curriculum, and are beloved by book clubs. In late summer, she will release How to Fly (In Ten Thousand Easy Lessons), a new collection of poetry.

How To Fly (In Ten Thousand Easy Lessons): Poetry will be available for local pickup and shipped to out-of-state lecture attendees in October.
