In this four-day class, we will use both fiction and non-fiction forms to tell stories from our lives and experience. In particular, the workshop will focus on fluency in metaphor and on illuminating images and stories of self which defy prejudice. If you could tell someone what it is like to be you and see the world, its racism, bigotry, and violence, or its beauty through your eyes, what might that story look like? Join us.
This is a 2-weekend workshop that will meet on consecutive weekends from 2 –5 PM:
- Saturday, April 6th
- Sunday, April 7th
- Saturday, April 13th
- Sunday, April 14th
