MariaIsmeira Moreno

Marketing and Communications Manager

MariaIsmeira was born and raised in El Paso, Texas, a first-generation kid who quickly discovered the power of stories to illuminate, inspire, and connect. As a child, books were more than escape—they were mirrors of her own experiences and windows into worlds beyond her own. Stories like The House on Mango Street showed her that narratives could give voice to communities often overlooked, sparking a lifelong passion for storytelling that empowers and uplifts.

That early understanding of storytelling’s power shaped MariaIsmeira’s career in marketing and communications, where she brings a blend of strategic thinking and heartfelt narrative to every project. From managing digital campaigns, building media relationships, leading outreach strategies, she seeks to create content that resonates with a wide-range of audiences.

Outside of work, MariaIsmeira’s love of stories continues in her everyday life. You can find her rummaging the aisles of The Record Exchange, sampling the latest local restaurants and coffee shops, going to The Flicks and nerding out over the newest movies (making sure to never skip the pretzels), or hanging out with her two wonderful kitties, Miso and Marceline. Whether through books, film, or community engagement, MariaIsmeira is dedicated to celebrating the narratives that shape who we are and the connections that bring us together.
