An Evening with Casey Parks

  • Lost Grove Brewing 1026 South La Pointe Street Boise, ID, 83706 United States (map)

Join the Cabin in welcoming Casey Parks, journalist and author of Diary of a Misfit. Parks will appear in conversation with local journalist Margaret Carmel. The event will be Saturday, September 30, at 7:00 PM at Lost Grove Brewing in Boise.

Diary of a Misfit was named one of the best books of 2022 by The Washington Post, Boston Globe, Booklist, Kirkus Reviews and New York Public Library, and it won the 2023 Oregon Book Award. In partnership with Rediscovered Books and Lost Grove Brewing, The Cabin presents this event as part of its Ghosts & Projectors author series. The event caps off The Cabin's Powerful Pints month at Lost Grove, where a portion of the brewery's tap room revenue goes to support local nonprofits.
