Drop-In Excavation with CL Young

  • The Cabin (We'll meet at The Cabin and walk to Julia Davis Park together.) 801 South Capitol Boulevard Boise, ID, 83702 United States (map)

Through somatic and improvisational experiments, writers will find their way to the work that wants to be expressed now.

Through somatic and improvisational experiments, we will find our way to the writing that most wants to be expressed now. In this flash workshop, we'll work with the body and the mind to create paths to the writing you didn't even realize you need to be doing. Writers will come out of our time together with new work, and tools for making more of it.

This workshop will take place in person at Julia Davis Park. We’ll meet at The Cabin and walk over to Julia Davis Park together.

COVID-19 Policy
In light of the extremely low positivity rate (the lowest since Idaho's first positive case in March 2020), we will no longer be requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination to attend our writing workshops. Masks are optional but encouraged. In the event of a future spike in cases, we will heed the guidance of local and national public health organizations.

Tuition: Sliding scale, suggested donation of $35
If you cannot provide the minimum donation, please contact Program Manager Megan Williams at megan@thecabinidaho.org or reach us at 208-331-8000.
