After years of dreaming, planning, and building, we're opening the doors to our newly renovated home—and we want you to be part of the celebration. Join us for the public grand opening of The Cabin, our annual member meeting, and an evening of stories, community, and celebration.
Explore The Cabin
From 5–6 PM, stop by for an open house and explore our newly renovated building and Henry's Storytelling Grove. Take a tour, enjoy food and refreshments, pick up some Cabin swag, and discover all the ways this new space will bring readers, writers, and our community together.
Open house activities will include:
Building tours of our renovated spaces
Food trucks and refreshments
A family-friendly treasure hunt
Photo booth
Free books and Cabin swag
Celebrate With Us
At 6 PM, we'll gather for a brief program and ribbon-cutting ceremony celebrating this incredible milestone for The Cabin.
A Home for Stories
The renovation of The Cabin's historic home has created more space for literary arts, learning, conversation, and community. It also brings Henry's Storytelling Grove to life—a new outdoor gathering space where stories can be shared under the Idaho sky.
This building belongs to all of us. We can't wait to welcome you inside.
This event is free and open to the public. Members, donors, partners, friends, families, and anyone who loves The Cabin are invited to join us.
