Ruth Ozeki is a filmmaker, novelist, and Zen Buddhist priest. Her novels have been published internationally, and her most recent work, A Tale for the Time Being, was shortlisted for the Man Booker Prize. Whether discussing the meat industry, agribusiness, or Zen Buddhism, Ruth Ozeki's lectures are always thoughtful, sometimes philosophical, but never without her trademark wit.

Please note: This is event is sold out but rush tickets may be available.

Rush Tickets are tickets given back to us from series ticket holders with schedule conflicts. Seats range anywhere from the front row to the back row. They are $20 for Cabin Members and $25 for the general public. They are sold on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 6:30 PM the night of the event in The Egyptian Theatre lobby. Rush Tickets are not available for events at The Morrison Center.
