**We regret to inform you that the Samantha Irby and Lindy West event on Thursday, June 1st, has been indefinitely postponed due to a medical emergency. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by this unforeseen circumstance.**

Rest assured that we are working hard to set a new date for the event, and we will inform you as soon as possible. In the meantime, we have refunded all tickets for the event.

Join the Cabin for an evening with Samantha Irby, the New York Times bestselling comedian, blogger, and author of Wow, No Thank You and We are Never Meeting in Real Life, at the Egyptian Theatre, June 1.

Called “wildly, seditiously funny” by the NY Times, Irby will be in conversation with friend and fellow writer Lindy West, celebrated author of Shrill (turned into a Hulu comedy series for which both Irby and West share a writing credit). Irby will be debuting her new book of essays, Quietly Hostile, which attendees can purchase as part of their ticket. In partnership with Rediscovered Books, The Cabin presents this unique event as part of its Ghosts & Projectors program.

Samantha Irby is an American comedian, essayist, blogger, and television writer. She is the creator and author of the blog bitches gotta eat, where she writes humorous observations about her own life and modern society more broadly. Her books We Are Never Meeting in Real Life and Wow, No Thank You were both New York Times bestsellers. Visit Samantha’s website.

Lindy West is the author of Shit, Actually: The Definitive, 100% Objective Guide to Modern Cinema, the essay collection The Witches Are Coming, and the bestselling memoir Shrill, adapted into a Hulu comedy series on which she serves as writer and executive producer. Visit Lindy’s website.
